Received the product this weekend. It is a nice compact product. However I ordered a black one and received a white one. When I check the web site now, it is clear the black sold out. Wasnt the case when I ordered.

It worked as expected even with a PD3.1 PSU and PC capable of PD3.1 contract of 28Vdc @ 5Adc (140WDC) that drew upwards of 130WDC, see attached.

We also tested it with several compliant Targus and Hyper USB-C cables and PD2.0 and PD3.0 supplies in both AC (plug-in PowerBoost dash) and DC (cigarette lighter type outlet in PB rear) supplies.

We use both AA and Carplay capable phones. For instance, our flagship S24 Ultra contracted for 10Vdc @ 4.5Adc (45Wdc "Ultra Fast Charging 2.0") and the flagship iPhone16 Pro Max at 45Wdc.

Had some minor issues with the TREEpod PD charging at 9V and contacted the pdfriender support. Got an immediate detailed and well structured answer with a lot of valuable information.

The issue was found immediately, which was on my end and not an issue with the product.

Would highly recommend if you are in need of a wired AA solution. Quality of the PCB looks well made and the 3D-printed case is a perfect compact fit.

This unit does exactly what it sets out to do, split the data and PD on USB-C for a much better car experience! Having Android Auto not drain / barely charge my battery on a long trip whilst getting Super Fast Charging on my Samsung phone is amazing!

I purchased this cable to connect the new device, but it doesn't work.
